What Is AOL²?

The Academy of Leaders Squared (AOL²) is a 4 week advanced leadership development program. The purpose of this program is to take what students have learned through the Academy of Leaders and put these skills to use through a ropes adventure course, a specialized mentoring relationship, book discussion, and intense follow up leadership workshops. Students completing AOL² will have a solid understanding of how to utilize their leadership styles in any group setting as well as a better understanding of civic responsibility.

The Center certifies an AOL² “Class” of students each Summer semester. Additional information is available at the Center for Leadership & Service in GC 242. Call 305-348-1397 or e-mail fmccune@fiu.edu. There is a materials fee of $25 for students who are enrolled in the program. This fee is non-refundable after the application deadline. Please make all checks payable to “Florida International University”, with “AOL2” in the memo line.

AOL² General Meeting Dates – All meetings will be held on Mondays & Wednesdays from 3:00pm-5:00pm in GC 1235 in the Graham Center Main Office across from Fresh Foods except for the closing session which will be in Graham Center room 305, see below.
